About Medtech Supply
In order to maintain Switzerland's supply capacity to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Federal Council has instructed the Armed Forces Pharmacy to procure essential medical goods.
- Suppliers interested in submitting a tender can register on the Medtech Supply platform. You will then automatically be notified of new invitations to tender.

General terms and conditions
Tender conditions
- The Armed Forces Pharmacy publishes procurement lots on this website;
- Medical goods are procured from experienced producers and distributers based in Switzerland;
- Bidders must provide proof of experience in Switzerland and in the procurement market to be able to participate;
- Procurement lots are published and contracts awarded by product group;
- For volumes valued at over CHF 25 million, bidders are required to form consortia;
- Bids are examined and contracts are awarded by the Armed Forces Pharmacy;
- Contracts are awarded directly.
Consortia
- A bidding consortium constitutes a simple partnership under Article 530ff of the Swiss Code of Obligations;
- Each bidding consortium defines the role of the lead partner, which represents the consortium in its dealings with the Armed Forces Pharmacy;
- Bids submitted by (bidding) consortia must be signed by all members (joint and several liability);
- The Armed Forces Pharmacy provides model contracts.
Procedure
- The Armed Forces Pharmacy publishes procurement lots on this website;
- The Armed Forces Pharmacy and Swiss Medtech will notify the industry about new procurement lots;
- Suppliers submit their bids for the relevant lot observing the applicable conditions and deadlines;
- The Armed Forces Pharmacy examines bids and awards the procurement contract.
Principles
- The Armed Forces Pharmacy only procures certified/approved products;
- It only procures bulk quantities;
- It only procures fully assembled products (that do not require additional logistics);
- It must be possible to establish a system of quality assurance to check product quality.
- All data submitted via this platform will be handled confidentially.
