This website is only intended for businesses operating as professional suppliers, and not for private individuals.

1   Recorded data

The recording and processing of personal data are always carried out in compliance with the legislation of the applicable data protection acts.

1.1   Collection of general data

Every time you visit our website, we record a range of general information, which is stored in the server’s log files. The following data are recorded:

• Date and time of your visit
• Time zone in relation to GMT time zone
• Content of the request
• Access status/http status code
• Data volume transmitted for each request
• Website from which the request originates
• Browser (including language and version used)
• Operating system

When the data are used, they are not attributed to any particular person. The collection of this data is based on our predominant legitimate interests and is technically necessary to display our website and to ensure its stability and security.

1.2   Making contact and contact form

Whether you contact us via our email address and/or via the contact form provided, we will always treat your submitted information in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. The data you provide is only used to deal with your request. We process your data based on our legitimate interests in order to reply to your request.

Please note that the data you enter in our contact form will be sent to us unencrypted.

2   Cookies

Our website uses cookies, which are small pieces of data that are stored as text files on your computer and that can be retrieved there. Cookies are used to enable you to subscribe to our services and to personalise our website for you. Cookies support our website in that they allow the collection of information about your IP address, the time and duration of your visit, the number of your visits, your use of our forms, your search settings, your display view and your favourites on our website.

3   Web-tracking

We use Google Analytics, a website usage tracking service provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as ‘Google’), on our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to track website traffic. The information generated by the cookies about your traffic on our website is sent anonymously to one of Google’s servers in the USA and saved there. The disidentification of the data makes it impossible to attribute the data to an identified person. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on user activities and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may share this information with third parties.

Google’s website traffic tracking service lies in our legitimate interests in continuously improving our website and making it more user-friendly.

Social media plug-ins and tools

Our website has link buttons with a hyperlink to external social media providers. Link buttons feature a logo of the social media provider they are linked to. As long as you do not click on the link button, your data will not be shared with the social media provider linked to the button. If you click on the link button, you will be connected to the external website of the plug-in provider. We have no control over how external social media providers process data; this will depend on their respective privacy statements.

5   Mailing lists (push mail)

You can subscribe to a mailing list of invitations to tender. You will then be notified by email of new invitations to tender for your selected categories.

The only information required for sending you the invitations to tender is your email address, which we save after your registration.

You can cancel your registration by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter email.

6   Data transmission

We may pass on personal data for processing purposes or involve third parties to process orders. Third parties are subject to the same strict data protection regulations.

7   Duration of data retention

Personal data that we process following your visits to our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storing the data ceases. The data may also be stored if this is required by law. Blocking or deletion of the data can also be postponed until the relevant limitation and retention periods have expired or if the data is still required for the conclusion or the fulfilment of a contract.

8   Your rights

You have the following rights concerning your personal data:

• Right to rectification or deletion,
• Right to restrict processing,
• Right to object to processing.

Provided data processing on our website is based on your consent, you can revoke your consent at any time without giving any reason for the future. We have taken numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data processed in connection with our website is protected as completely as possible. Please note that if you contact us via email, fax, mobile phone or internet applications, there is a risk that third parties may be able access and modify the content of your message, or your message may be lost. We are unable to guarantee the security of your data in such cases.
